You're Main Administrator « Result #3 on Jul 31, 2008, 11:13am »
Hello there! I'm Dontey. Some of my close friends know me as Silver, or Silvereth, some as Aarrow, but thats all a different story. I'm 13 years old, and I'm the main administrator of this site. At first it was only Harris and I who were going to create this masterpiece, but then we decided we need help.
I'm a student at a middle school, and I'm one of the best in the class. If I wasn't, I wouldn't be writing this to you today. I love and hate many things and they will be listed here in a bit, well actually now.
My favorite things are Science, anime, drawing, reading, writing, Language arts, poetry, science fiction, boys (Thats a given), and the color blue, and don't forget animals.
The things I hate are few but many. I hate spiders, sharks, n00bs, the jerks on Xbox Live, classical music, and death rock. I hate people who post porn, and why shall be cursed forever if they do so.
I'm also very good at fending off spammers. It's my forte. >D
Database Submission Rules « Result #6 on Jul 30, 2008, 7:55pm »
Alright, there are a few guidelines you need to follow before submitting a forum into the database.
To be able to submit your website, you must have at least 100 posts, so we know you are active. If you become inactive right after you submit your site, we will delete your site from the database, and you will not be able to resubmit it again.
Please supply a UBBC banner if possible, so that your site won't be represented as just a link. Thats a little boring if you think about it. Please keep the banners at a reasonable size. Don't make them huge. Keep them in the 88x31 range please, though we can make exceptions.
Your site must stay active if you would like to keep the site in the database. That means, every month, I will ask you for an estimate on how active your site has been in the past month. I will check myself if I think you aren't being truthful to me or any other staff member.
Please don't be pushy about getting your site into the database, you will be accepted (or rejected) as soon as possible.
Please follow these guidelines and there will be no problems,
NO spamming ◘ No double posting, or typing the same message over and over again. This also includes typing something, somewhere not needed.
NO flamming or harassment ◘ Abusive, Racial, Sexual words to harm or put others in fear. Or even to underdog them. This would include being overconfident and arrogant. It is usually sent in a quick response if someone is mad or something of the sort. Keep in mind that not EVERYONE here may speak English as a first language, so be nice. Also keep in mind that not all members may be over 13, so try best to keep it PG-13.
NO excessive cursing ◘ This is such a basic rule, so I doubt I should even have to explain it.
Respect everyone ◘ If you want to be treated with respect, respect others the same way. Especially your admin and moderators. Give members there personal space, and don't keep filling our PM boxes up with stupid and pointless questions. Post them in the question section.
Spell Check ◘ Yes, I want EVERYONE to utilize the spell check function. That's what it is there for. So make use of it. I shouldn't see typos and spelling errors if you are using spell check. These are the Consequences for breaking rules. First Time: Warning x3 Second Time: Banned for 1 day(24hrs) Third Time: Banned for 1 week(7 days,168hrs) Fourth Time: Banned for a Month(30-31 days,720-744hrs) Fifth Time: Banned, period. No more returning for you
------------------------------------------------------------------- If your account becomes inactive for a week or more your account will be disabled by me, until you contact me via IM, Email, or Chat-Box. This rule will apply for staff members as well.
If you are a staff member and you become inactive, your account will be disabled until (Again) you contact me, and your staff member position will be taken away and given to someone more worthy of the title.
